This is a barebones monitor, as such it does not have a whole lot of features more expensive monitors would have.
There is only one option for video connectivity; HDMI (however there are two ports). There are no speakers built into this unit, instead a 3.5 millimeter jack is provided to act as an audio passthrough with volume control.

if the lack of variance for connectivity or fancier refresh rate processing is a deal breaker then this is most certainly not the monitor for you.

That being said the display itself is beautiful, there is no hint of pixelation, the colors are very nice and there is not much noticeable back light bleed. Compared to a retina display or a thunderbolt display this monitor stands up. It looks very much like a matte version of a Dell ultrasharp.

This product was exactly what I wanted. I now have three connected to the same computer. I am surrounded by the data I want and need. I choose this Viotek version (versus the higher resolution Viotek or other curved screens) because it I do not need to have the highest resolution, and this Viotek looks great and was inexpensive. So you understand, I do not need high resolution because I only use the computer (and therefore the screens) for research and writing. Thus, for the price of one pricey screen, I got three! . That's 96 inches of look-at-it-when-I-need-it data versus find it behind another window. I can not remember any of the other comments, but some were negative. This is crisp, and perfect for writing and researching. (Side benefit -- I actually get to clear my desk of reference materials.)

Is this a stunning, perfect display? No, not really. But it is perfect as a low-cost secondary display for a laptop. I work from home frequently, and my little laptop screen wasn't cutting it to connect to the bigger dual-monitor display setup I have on my desk at work.

I needed something that was fairly inexpensive, but would be easy on the eyes when I'm coding for work. I bought it along with a VESA adapter and a mounting arm, because I like to put my secondary displays in portrait mode, and the stand it comes with doesn't do that. Color and resolution seem pretty good. The back light is nice. There's a tiny bit of light bleed around the edge of mine, but I use it in a fully lit room during daytime hours, so it's not bothersome. I do wish that the place you put the VESA adapter or stand was more centered, because the monitor is a little wobbly, even on the arm I have it mounted on. Otherwise, it's a solid monitor considering I only paid $100 for it.

I purchased this monitor with the hope that I could avoid the headaches that I have been prone to with other monitors, and have used a variety of monitors from Samsung, Lenovo, Asus, Dell, and LG. So far, so good!

I bought the 2 monitor version of this, which is outstanding. It holds a 27" monitor and a 22" without issue. Both are LED backlit, so no weight issues.

I also bought this 3 monitor version for my desk at work, and it's not quite as awesome, but still great. The first problem is that the left and right arms are not quite long enough for 24" monitors. They are fine of you want the monitors to be in a perfectly straight line and the outer monitors are barely angled towards you. The only way to get past this is by angling in the outers by covering part of the bezel with the center monitor. At that point, I still don't have quite enough angle for my liking, but it's good enough.
